Aquatics

Our Aquatics Center consists of a pool, sauna, steam room, and whirlpool. The pool is an active area with lap-swimming, aquatics classes, and swim lessons happening regularly, but there is always an area for open swimming. Open swim requires a monthly swim test for participants under the age of 18 to determine their swimming ability. As well as any child under the age of 8 must have a parent/guardian in the pool area with them. Lifeguards are on-duty during the hours the Center is open. If lifeguards are not available, the Aquatics Center is closed.

Unwind after your workout in the whirlpool, steam room, or sauna. Please abide by posted notices while using these facilities.

The Aquatics Center is open during the following hours*:

Mon-Fri: 5:30 AM–8:00 PM
Sat: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Sun: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
*The pool availability may change without notice. Need to verify the pool is open? Call the YMCA and dial 0 to speak to the front desk.

If you know someone who is interested in a flexible and fulfilling job, encourage them to apply to become a lifeguard!

By the way, we offer Lifeguard certification courses to get you ready to work with us (or for your summer job). Stop by the front desk to get scheduled for the next training!
