Beginning Monday, June 7, Henry County YMCA will re-establish its standard approach to guest passes, reciprocity memberships, and facility hours. Throughout the past year, the YMCA’s members and staff have navigated changing protocols and have remained committed to the overall health of one another.

“We can’t say enough about the cooperation of our members and the adaptability of our staff,” noted Chris Williams, CEO of the Henry County YMCA. “Every area of our organization had to shift, but our mission to help our community toward health and wellness remained the same.”

During the past year, the Henry County YMCA did not accept guest passes or memberships from other YMCAs. The YMCA also closed off every other machine in the Wellness Center and established spacing requirements in locker rooms.

In this last phase, the Henry County YMCA will welcome those with guest passes and memberships from other Ys and will also open all Wellness Center machines and locker room areas. Additionally, the YMCA will now be open until 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The aquatics center, sauna, and whirlpool/steam area will be open until 8 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Summer day camps will progress as planned, providing children ages 5 through 12 the opportunity to be physically active in a safe, educational environment.

Thank you to all of our members and guest for your patience and support to help us reach this point!
