Family Fun Night at the YMCA
The Henry County YMCA welcomes the community to “Family Fun Night” at the YMCA on Friday, October 27 from 6 pm – 8 pm.
“Henry County YMCA provides a place for people to come together, support each other, and strengthen our community,” expressed Micayla Cooley, Youth Programs Facilitator. “We love to have fun, engaging programs that make a positive impact.”
At Family Fun Night there will be a pumpkin decorating contest, a family-friendly movie, and a light snack and drink.
Family Fun Night is open to the community. The cost to attend is $10 per family. The YMCA will provide one pumpkin per family. Each family will need to bring items to decorate their pumpkin (pumpkins will NOT be carved so that they last through November 2). Participants must be age 19 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Once the pumpkins are decorated, they will be entered into a contest for the best-decorated pumpkin. Voting will take place in the YMCA lobby until November 2. All monies collected will benefit the YMCA Annual Campaign for scholarships. The winning pumpkin will receive YMCA merchandise and gift certificates.
To register for Family Fun Night, go to the YMCA Front Desk or contact Micayla Cooley at MCooley@HenryCountyYMCA.org. Registration is requested by Wednesday, October 25, to ensure pumpkins are available for every family.
