The Henry County YMCA is joining the World's Largest Swimming Lesson by offering an hour-long swim class at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.
“This is an opportunity to come alongside the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson on their 10th anniversary,” noted Natasha Hamilton, Youth Program Coordinator at the Henry County YMCA. “We recognize the importance of water safety, which is why we offer swimming lessons not just on this one day, but year-round and even incorporate it in our preschool program.”
More than 41,800 kids and adults participated in the worldwide event in 2018, with participants in 27 different countries. To sign up for the event in Henry County, visit the Henry County YMCA for a registration form. The cost to attend is $5.
