We Miss You
Y to remain closed due to State Orders
We miss you! As we continue to follow Governor Holcomb’s orders to remain closed, we want you to know we are still here for you.
1. We’re getting things ready. We’re finishing up work on the hardwood floors in the gym, group exercise room, and racquetball courts. We’re replacing the pool’s pump so it will be ready for you when we reopen. Our staff has cleaned the building thoroughly and finished repairs where they were needed.
2. We’re serving you online. Check out our Group Exercise Facebook Group for classes, workout tips and inspiration. We also just started a Youth Sports Facebook Group sharing instructional videos and family activity ideas.
3. We’re preparing to open safely. We’ve installed plexiglass around our front desk. We’ve added disinfecting stations throughout the building. You’ll see signs posted throughout the facility to remind everyone of health and distancing guidelines. We will only be allowing members to enter during our first phase of opening. Children under the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child watch will be offered initially.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this situation. We know that some of you may need to put a hold on your membership due to changing employment status and financial strain. For the rest of you who can,we encourage you to keep your membership active so we can continue to serve you in the years to come.
We miss you. Yes, we said that before… but it bears repeating. As we near the end of our time to be closed, we encourage you to stay active and healthy in spirit, mind, and body. Use our online classes, play as a family on our outdoor field, or take a walk or run on the Wilbur Wright trail adjacent to the YMCA… we just hope you keep moving. If you use the outdoor options, continue to maintain respectful social distancing with others. See you soon!
