Currently Open for Members Only: Learn more about Phase One
We are excited to see you again, but there are some changes to the way we're operating to keep you safe. Read on to make sure you're ready before entering.
Dear YMCA Member,
We plan to follow all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines to re-open our facility in the safest way possible as that information becomes available and/or changes. We will begin reopening in phases, and the first phase is detailed below. To keep our members and staff safe and protected while using our facilities, you can expect the following guidelines.
YMCA Phase One (beginning May 24)
Before coming to the YMCA please follow these guidelines:
· If you have been contacted by the Department of Health notifying you of exposure to COVID-19, we thank you for not using the Y until 14 days after your exposure.
· If you or anyone in your household are showing symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath or otherwise not feeling well, please refrain from using the Y until fever free for 24 hours.
· Wash your hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds before coming to the Y and after entering the building.
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
· Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have access to a tissue, sneeze or cough into your elbow.
Members must stop and complete the check in process at the membership desk. This will include a basic health screening and the signing of a waiver. (Anyone under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or guardian signature before using the facility). No sales/redemption of guest passes or nationwide membership access will be allowed.
Be prepared to wait as we check-in members in front of you. Be sure you are keeping a minimum of 6 ft distance between you and the members waiting with you (See signage to assist with this). This may mean that you will have to wait outside as members are processed.
Members should have their YMCA scan card ready.
No outside food or drink. Only already filled water bottles will be permitted.
Youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult while using the facility.
Members may be asked to wear a mask while using certain areas of the facility or at certain times of day
Failure to comply is not an option. We want to keep our doors open for as many people as possible. Doing so means taking safety seriously. Please note that any member who fails to comply with social distancing requirements may be asked to leave the facility.
