YMCA Child Watch Reopens By Appointment
Child Watch will be operating with an appointment system and updated guidelines.
As we continue to add to the services available to members at the Y, Child Watch is the next service that will be opening. Child Watch will be operating with an appointment system and updated guidelines.
Child Watch will now take place primarily in the gym and will be offered for children 3-7 years of age. Each child will be screened at the door with preliminary COVID-19 questions and will have their temperature taken. There will be a one hour maximum per child and children will need to be assisted by a parent or legal guardian for bathroom breaks. Every 30 minutes everyone in Child Watch will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
Children will be expected to wear masks while in Child Watch when not in active play. The only two items they will need will be a mask and a water bottle with your child’s name on it. Please be sure to have a COVID waiver on file for your child completed before you drop your child off. You can do this at the front desk or at www.henrycountyymca.org/whats-new/find-waivers-here
To schedule a time slot for Child Watch, visit Calendly.com/henrycountyymcachildwatch. Please schedule the child's name per slot on this link. One appointment per child. This link will give the option to schedule a 30 minute or one hour session. Child Watch hours are Monday-Friday, 4-6:30 pm and Saturday, 8:30 am-11 am. The YMCA plans to expand the hours as staff becomes available and trained.
