Due to extra time, effort, and staff required to meet special team requests, and additional fee of $3 is required for those that request to be on a team with a specific player or coach.

Rookies Soccer

The Henry County YMCA's Rookies Soccer Division is a skill development program for ages 4–7. It focuses on teaching players the basics of the game in an environment where they can focus on learning the sport, not performing to win.

Ages:

Kickers: Boys & Girls, 4–5 years old

Passers: Boys & Girls, 6-7 years old

Registration:

Early Registration: February 6-February 19

Normal Registration: February 20-March 11

Late Registration: March 12-April 9 (if space available)

Practice: 2 weekday evenings for 2 weeks                                (coaches will contact you)
Games: 2 games per week-Tuesdays and/or Thursdays and/or Saturdays
Fees: Members $25/$30/$40

Champions Soccer

Champions Soccer is a program for ages 7–10 that focuses on learning the skills of the game and the rules of the sport.

Ages: Boys & Girls, 7-10 years old
Registration:

Early Registration:February 6-19

Normal Registration: February 20-March 11

Late Registration:  March 12-April 9 (if space available)

Practice: 2 weekday evenings for 2 weeks                               (coaches will contact you)

    Parent-Tot Classes

    Henry County YMCA Parent-Tot Classes are instructional programs designed to help youth ages3–4 get a head start on their athletics. This is a great way for children to learn the basic fundamentals of different sports while socializing and meeting new friends. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate with their children during each session.

    Parent-Tot Soccer

    It is a 45 minute class that meets Saturday mornings for 4 weeks, with a curriculum that emphasizes teaching children soccer fundamentals including dribbling, passing, and shooting as well as game concepts including boundaries, rules and traditions.

    Ages: Boys & Girls, 3–4 years old
    Registration: March 1-April 13
    Class Dates: April 14-May 5
    Class Times: 9–9:45 AM
    Location: YMCA Soccer Fields

    Martial Arts

    YMCA Bushi Kai Karate is a great way to reduce stress and increase your fitness level while learning to defend yourself. The YMCA program offers an opportunity to learn self defense and self confidence in a family oriented environment. Parents and children, brothers and sisters can take the classes together. Our classes are designed for any age, male or female. There are no long term commitments or contracts, just a fun learning environment.
