    3—on—3 Basketball League

    YMCA Adult Basketball Leagues emphasize building positive values through sport and incorporate the philosophy of "Athletes first, winning second."  Team rosters may contain 4-5 players, only 3 of which may play at one time.  New players cannot be added to the roster after the first game.

    All team fees and non-member fees are due upon registration.

    Ages: 18 years or older

    Volleyball

    Volleyball

    The Henry County YMCA offers the both competitive and recreational volleyball divisions. Teams of up to 10 players can sign up for the competitive Play Hard Division or the recreational Play Soft Division with modified rules.  All players must be 16 years or older.  At least 1 woman must be on the court at all times.

    Play Soft Division Rules

    • The Play Soft Division is strictly a recreational division and will not keep standings or have a single elimination tournament.
    • There are no hard hits in this division.
    • Rosters may have up to 10 players, but only 6 players may be on the court at one time.
    • All players must be 16 years of age or older
    • A match consists of the best 3 out of 5 games.
    • Games are played to 21 points, rally scoring. Must win by 2 points; if a 5th game is required, play to straight 15 points.
    • Net serves are allowed.
    • Physical contact with net is not allowed.
    • Physical contact with net is not allowed. Reaching over net is allowed unless contact with ball is made on opposing side of net.
    • You may serve underhand.
    • Captains make sure games are played within time constraints (one hour).

    Play Hard Division Rules

    • Rosters may have up to 10 players, but only 6 players may be on the court at one time.
    • All players must be 16 years of age or older
    • At leas two women must be on the court at all times otherwise it will result in a forfeit.
    • Games are played to 30 points, rally scoring. Must win by 2 points; if a 3rd game is required, play to straight 15 points.
    • Net serves are allowed.
    • Physical contact with net is not allowed.
    • Physical contact with net is not allowed. Reaching over net is allowed unless contact with ball is made on opposing side of net.
    • Captains make sure games are played within time constraints (one hour).
