CABS (Child and Babysitting Safety) Certification
Ages 12+ can get an American Safety and Health Institute Certification in Basic First Aid.
The CABS program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being.
Participants will learn how to change diapers, how to manage choking in a responsive infant and child, how to control severe bleeding, and how to perform spinal motion restriction.
